Thunderbird Hall (Wei Wai Kum)
A large, plain hall – the cheapest big room in the region – so you bring décor, caterer and bar. Full payment is due two weeks before, and the renter must stay for the whole function.
Venue only. Doesn’t include catering, bar, tables & chairs and coordinator.
The music
Music and bar wrap by 2 a.m. All functions must finish by 2 a.m.

Up to 350 guests. 350 seated at tables (about 66 tables); 500 theatre style.

The money
$600 hall — 2026 rates: $600 fixed daily rate for the main hall (or $70/hr for weddings); kitchen $100/day; optional caretaker set-up $200 and clean-up $350; tablecloths $150; plus 5% GST. $600 damage deposit if alcohol is served. Rates change by season, so confirm with the venue.
